Joining us to the Church, on November 30 we started the year of Consecrated Life. Several communities of the Congregation gathered together and made something special for this day combining the spiritual with fraternal coexistence.

This was the case of the communities of the Mother House, General House, Novitiate, San Marcos and Flaymar Center, who celebrated a Holy Hour, and then participated in the Eucharist presided by Fr. Salvador Villaruel, Superior General of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. We presented a short program with allusive performances to this occasion, vocational songs, poetry and speeches about Consecrated Life experiences of some sisters. Our Superior General exhorted us to live intensely this year, taking advantage of the graces and blessings the Lord has given us, as in the case of the Plenary Indulgence.

At the end we tasted a meal that was offered with multiple snacks.

Relying in our Heavenly Mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, our wishes for this year are that the  "Consecrated Life in the Church today be the Gospel, Prophecy and Hope" (motto of the Year of Consecrated Life).
